New legislation governing the life insurance business was implemented on January 1, 2008, introducing new pricing models (pricing of each element in the different products). Exact prices will be calculated up front and no local dividends will be allowed any more. Full transparency will be required. Any surplus and deficit will be credited/debited to the owner(s) account.
